How can we help?
As more and more RSI, such as tendinitis, nerve compression syndromes, chronic neck, shoulder and back pain, etc, are being diagnosed there’s an increased demand for personalized ergonomic evaluations to help educate individuals on proper work positions and habits.
Esther Indich, OTR, CHT has been a practicing occupational therapist for over 11 years. Her expertise is as a certified hand therapist, where she has had the opportunity to treat all types of tendinitis and nerve compression syndromes. Her experience has taught her that the best prevention and treatment of RSI is education.
As a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, Esther offers on-site ergonomic evaluations. She goes to the client’s home or office setting and completes an OSHA approved, risk factor checklist. Follow-up reports are provided and include a summary of evaluation findings, with specific recommendations on ways to improve the person’s current work environment. Training is also provided to prevent RSI from developing and recurring.
